I was just reading an article about this... They think that it was sparked by a dispute of line-cutting. Apparently people who waited in the cold vs. people who sat in their cars and then made a beeline for the door around opening time. It's bad enough that it happened at all, but then those people who still wanted to shop even though a man had been killed there (apparently trying to protect a pregnant woman). Is a big screen TV really worth that? Do you really need a GPS that bad?
It's amazing how self-centered we can be. People trampling over one another just to save a few bucks for something we really don't need!I didn't realize there was a line cutting issue. Sounds like 4th grade stuff.
