Zachary had his 3 month pediatric endocrinologist appointment today. He did great, although there were some issues. When we got there we tested him and his blood sugar was 598. Totally out of sight. Turns out the cannula came out of him and was bent (you never know when that happens other than to find high readings).
So we had to redo it and try it in a different spot which he was not happy about. You can guess backside and you'd be close. Problem is Zachary always watches when he gets shots, IV's, blood draws, etc. The backside is not an easy place to watch. But he did great.
He wanted Arby's on the way home and ate two sandwiches, a hungry and growing boy.
