I received an email from the doctoral secretary offering me free advice (gulp). She said the main reader has reviewed my first two chapters and she seemed encouraged (that's the good news), the bad news was her comment that I need to address all 17 of his comments, he expects it, I think he demands it.
I have not yet received his email with his comments, but I am sure I will have lots of questions from his questions. So, it will be back to work on revising and then adding to it.
There was one other piece of good news, I think, she said they want the dissertation to be no longer than 250 pages, whew!! That's a relief, I thought I could try to write it as long as Dostoevsky's "The Idiot." Hey that title applies.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted after I receive his email and digest it.
